The Military Museum & China Millennium Monument

The military museum, you can learn military related knowledge and weapons in Chinese history. From the video below you can see the weapons that were seized from the U.S. military or US supported Kuomingtang troops during the Korean war or the civil war. There are also aircrafts that Taiwan pilots defected with to mainland China after 1949. The pilots were treated as heroes.

The China Millennium Monument, there is a bronze thoroughfare which is a 274-meter (300-yard) long road built of bronze. The thoroughfare is inscribed with about 180,000 words recording the important historical events and a chronology of Chinese history back from 3000BC. This morning I spent one hour walking along this road from the very beginning to the year of 2000, carefully read each word that carrying the wisdom and civilization of my ancestors, I was deeply touched, it is our responsibility to continue to write the history.
