The Arctic Circle

The Arctic Circle on the Russian side, we were about to cross the international date line when taking this picture. We departed from Beijing Airport at 9am, June 15th, arrived at Newark at 10 am, June 15th, the 13 hrs travel time only took 1 hour on clock 

The polar day in Arctic Circle, 3am local time below, so the sun never sets. In this photo, we were staring at the sun on the other side of the North Pole that shines in the eastern hemisphere. Amazing!
