USYF Barcelona Trip 2024

In 2024, Sommer and Sydnie both earned spots on the USYF U15 Futsal National Team after passing the Regional ID event in Charleston, South Carolina, in March, and the National ID event in Kansas City in July. This marks Sommer’s second consecutive year making the team.

We are incredibly grateful to Birmingham Futsal for their training and support. Growing up in their program allowed the girls to learn from national team coaches and players, gaining a strong foundational understanding of the unique philosophy and techniques of futsal.

This trip to Barcelona lasted nine unforgettable days, and we’ve put together a daily vlog to share the experience with you. Barcelona is stunning — an extraordinary city that doesn’t feel like a typical big city. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
